River Trip 2009

Our Favorite time of year! Heading out to the river with Grammy and Grampa or Mom and Dad is the best. Of course this year we decided to go when it was 115 degrees. Luckily, it really wasn't that bad, with the kiddos we were always in the water anyways. The girls LOVE the river and are always asking to return. Charlotte and Sally had their first tubing experiences. I wish we had the giggles on tape. They had a ball!

July 2009

Of course it just wouldn't be summer without tons of trips to the beach. Here are just a couple pics. The girls would stay all day if they could, and Charlotte absolutely loves jumping the ocean waves. We even caught sand crabs!

Justin and I went to a Dodger Game in July. It was an early birthday present for JB. We always get amazing tickets in the Dugout Club. This year we got to sit with tons of celebs, kinda fun to people watch too!

Our seats, seriously like 4 rows back from the pitcher's mound!

Just me and Cuba hanging out

July 11th was Charlotte's very first dance recital. She is taking ballet and tap with Miss Cathy and absolutely loves it. Any chance to twirl she is happy! They did a tap dance to "Baby Take a Bow," which is a song by Shirley Temple. So cute! A couple weeks later their class was invited to perform at The Orange County Fair.

One of our favorite places to go, Tanaka Farms. They take you on a tractor ride around the farm. You get to taste all the veggies grown there. Some of our favorite are their carrots, green onions, cilantro, and radishes. This particular tour is the watermelon tour so we got to take the yummiest watermelon home too!

It's About Time!

Funny that the first post since my last post will be about a birthday again. Sally turned TWO on June 2. And yes we are officially in the twos and loving it! I feel like I can laugh about it this time around. She loves to talk, as Auntie Jaime puts it "she is talking in paragraphs." I think she got that from me! So here are some fun pictures that celebrated that very special day.

At Hurless Barton Park. We had a Finding Nemo theme.

We went to Disneyland on her actual birthday! We had breakfast at Ariel's Grotto and met all of the Princesses. Cinderella was her favorite. We also did all the rides that she loves like the carousel, teacups, the Ladybug ride, and cars (Autotopia).

Mid June we went to Santa Clara for Cousin Mark's college graduation. He graduated from Santa Clara University and we had tons of fun being with family. On our way back home we decided to make a little Bero Family Vacation out of it with stops in Solvang and Santa Barbara.

In the Life of Babes

I have to begin with some cute pictures from Lottie's 3rd Birthday. I can't believe 3 months has already past since. Oooops, just a little behind am I. Charlotte had her birthday at the local park and believe it or not it was a beautiful California day in the month of December!

I'm THREE!

What did I get?

My Tiny Baby.....just what I wanted!

Then the month of January rolled around and we were off to see SNOW for the first time. Seriously...Justin, Charlotte and Sally all got to see it snow for the first time. It was beautiful! Charlotte loved rolling, diving and throwing the snow. Sally thought it was hard to walk in and cold. Both girls continually ask when we are going back!

Wow...fresh snow! Should I taste it?

Looking back at Summer!

I am sure that everyone will agree that summertime always seems to fly by. Ours was no exception. Plus, it was such a fabulous summer. Charlotte, Sally and I went with a group of friends to Tanaka Farms for the Watermelon Tour.

We spent a lot of time at the park and on bike rides. Justin and I went to a Dodger Game in August and the family went to an Angel Game.

September was our trip to the river. I love it that our girls love to river too!

Our Crazy Month of June

The month of June we kicked off with a really big birthday to celebrate. The big O-N-E for little Miss Sally Jo! I can't believe she is a year now. She loves to follow us around everywhere we go. She is a little speed crawler. She loves to eat, sing songs and go for long walks.

We also took a vacation in June. We went to the Zoo, Sea World, and Dodger Game. Everything couldn't have been more perfect! We loved our hotel and got to spend time with friends and family!
Other then that our weekends have been filled with Disneyland and the beach. Charlotte is addicted to the water and sand at Newport Beach. Sally usually sleeps. Can't wait to see what the remainder of the summer brings us!

First Post!

I feel like life has been flying by and I look at the date and WOW Sally will be one soon. I decided to begin this blog to keep in contact with everyone, and hopefully all my friends and family can see what is going on in our lives as well. Kind of sad that we are all so busy that we don't pen and paper anymore, and with texting the phone is becoming a thing of the past as well. So I hope I can keep up-to-date with our family blog. I hope you all enjoy the crazy pictures and posts! Love you all tons!
